Teacher presents new vocabulary through both auditory and visual means.


Teacher asks students to accomplish the ex.1 on page 64.

  1. Match the words in the box with the instruments in the picture.



Teacher asks students to work in pairs and answer the questions regarding the certain topic.

  1. What instruments do you associate with orchestras and classical music?

  2. What instruments do you expect to see in a pop or rock band?

  3. What about the other instruments: where would you normally see them?



Teacher will divide the class into 3 groups and provide each of them with “Word-search” handouts.








Teachers asks students to make a survey. Teacher explains the exercise and shows the example:


-Do you like listening to music?

-What kind of music do you listen to?

-Do you ever give money to buskers?
