«THE BUN»
Aims of the lesson: - develop lexical skills
- develop students’ dialogical speech skills through dramatization
- contribute to the development of students’ creative potential
- to form motives for learning English
Equipment: scenery, costumes, props, musical accompaniment, tickets for spectators

Characters: the storyteller, the grandfather, the grandmother, the hare, the wolf, the bear, the fox
Storyteller: Once upon a time there lived old man and an old woman.
Grandfather: I’m hungry. Please, bake me a bun.
Storyteller: The old woman takes some flour, some sour cream, some butter and some water, and makes a bun.

randmother: The bun is ready. I
put it on the windowsill to cool.
Bun: I cannot sit on the windowsill! I want to walk.
Storyteller: The bun runs along the road and meets a hare.
Hare: Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!
Bun: I ran away from Grandfather; I ran away from Grandmother. And I can run away from you, little hare!
Storyteller: The bun runs along the road and meets a wolf.
Wolf: Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!
Bun: I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother, I ran away from the hare. And I can run away from you, grey wolf!
Storyteller: The bun runs along the road and meets a bear.
Bear: «Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you! »
Bun: I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother, I ran away from the hare, I ran away from the wolf. And I can run away from you, big bear!
Storyteller: The bun runs along the road and meets a fox.
Fox: Little bun, little bun, I want to eat you!
Bun: I ran away from Grandfather, I ran away from Grandmother, I ran away from the hare, I ran away from the wolf, I ran away from the bear. And I can run away from you, old fox!
Fox: What a nice song! But little bun, I’m old and I cannot hear you well. Sit on my nose and sing your song again.

toryteller: The bun jumps on
the fox’s nose and … the fox eats
it!
