Objectives:


a) Educational aim: to enrich pupils’ knowledge about «sport».

To revise words: about food.

Make up word combinations and sentences with the new words: to educate their oral speech by doing exercise.

b) Developing aim: to develop their memory and oral speech by doing different exercises, to develop their skills in speaking writing hearing and reading by doing exercises .

c) Cultural aim: educate them to be honest clever and to be active all their life.

Type of the lesson: mixed.

Visual aids: pictures, cards, crossword.


Procedure of the lesson.


1.

Teacher: Hello, boys and girls!

Glad to see you. How are you?

Today is a nice day, isn’t it?

Can you guess what are we going to talk about? Today we`ll spek about food.

You are right. Today we have an unusual lesson. We have guests at our lesson. I am sure that you will show all your knowledge to them. Today we will speak about food. We shall do some exercises. I have divided the class into 2 groups. The first group is countable nouns and the second group is uncountable nouns.

Teacher : Now I want to start our lesson with worming up.

Repeat after me .

I like meat. Kazahk people like meat too. It is their traditional food. Kazakh people are very hospitable. When they invite guests they also cook kazy, kuyrdak. They have some traditional milk products. They are kurt, irimshik. Their traditional drinks are kymyz, shubat. These drinks are very useful for our health.


Answer for questions: (T-P1/P2)

•          What can you talk about Kazakh people?

•          What do they usually cook?

•          Do they have milk products? What are they?

•          What are traditional drinks?

•          What are Kazakh drinks useful for our health?


Now let’s speak about your favourite food.

1) Teacher: Listen to me. I’ll describe food and you must guess. What food is it?

Clean, but not water,

White, but not snow,

Sweet, but not ice-cream,

Ok. We`ve revised the grammar. Now the first group write on the poster only countable nouns and the second group write only uncountable nouns. Do you understand this task?

Your task is : Write words as many as you can.



The time is up! Let’s do 3 claps. And check.

The next task is. I`ll give you the cards. Fill in the gaps with some, any, how much and how many. Who will be quicker and the first will be the winner.

I`ll prepared cut dialogue. You should put the dialogue in the right order. Look at the blachboard and do selfassessment. How many mistakes do you have?

11. Now. Let`s catch the fish. You are fish men. I need 1 fish men from each group. If you can`t answer the question, your group will help you.

  • How often do you eat sweets?

Eat FIVE fruits every day.
Have juice for breakfast, carrots with lunch,
Grapes for snack (eat a big bunch).
Peas and potatoes with tour dinner-
That adds up to five, and you are a winner!
