Teacher greets with leaners.

Ok, if you are ready let’s start our lesson

Teacher prepares compliments on the blackboard to arouse student’s interest in the lesson



I. Checking up the home task.

«French fries» method

Teacher gives fries to the students. Long-fries are oral, medium fries are written, short fries do homework on the board.

Vocabulary. Which food…..



Division into groups

«French fries» method

Divide intothree groups with the help of fries. Pupils choose one of them. Teacher gives names of each group. The teacher asks pupils to choose the leader of each group.

III. Introduce lesson

Presentation of new lesson.

The teacher presents the students with unhealthy and healthy food and asks the students what they would choose.After learners saying teacher says that this is today’s theme. Teacher introduces with the theme of the lesson, with learning objectives and assessment criterion.Show the slide and put brainstorming questions about the pictures as following:

  1. Why we need food?

  2. What different food do you know?

  3. What is the healthy food?

The teacher says words and sentences related to healthy and unhealthy foods. Students clap if there is healthy food and sit down if there is unhealthy food

The teacher divides unhealthy food into 3 groups and completes the task. The composition of the food is determined by experiment and the students demonstrate it.
