While-listening Ex: 1 P: 54 Focus students’ attention on the quiz on page 55. Allow students a couple of minutes to look at the different celebrations and ask them to decide which one they think looks like most fun. Get some feedback from one or two students. Differentiation: «Verbal support» method is used to help Students use new words in the text. Ex: 2 P:54 • Divide students into pairs and ask them to do the quiz on page 43. Encourage them to guess the answers if they do not know. • When students have finished, check answers and get feedback by asking for a show of hands for answer a or answer b in each case Differentiation: «Verbal support» method is used to help Students use new words in the text. Ex:3 P: 54 • Explain the task and go through the example together to make sure students know what they have to do, pointing out that only one of the nouns in each case makes sense with the verb. • In a stronger class, ask students to do the activity individually before checking their answers in pairs.
