Setting the aims of the lesson

Teacher checks home task. Learners who are ready come to the blackboard and present their home task (Topic “My hero”).

Learners watch the video and say their opinion.

Read “A Kazakh hero” text. Students open their books at page 27 and look at the picture of Abulkhair Khan. Ask: Who was he? What did he do?
