Organization moment. 1. Greeting and org.moments 2. To inform Students with Lesson Objectives 3.Brainstorming “Images” – Activity Teacher shows some pictures of leisure time activities and asks Students to say what is happening, thus Students find lesson’s topic. 1.How many hours of free time do you have per day? 2.What activities make you happy? Differentiation Question for more able student: 3.How can your hobby help you in your future life/career? FA – oral feedback according to the Student’s action |

Task 1. Differentiation task for less able student: Check the meaning of these words in a dictionary. Reading, dancing, hiking, cooking, fishing, skiing …. Differentiation: More able students add other hobbies and leisure activities to the list and make up 3-4 sentences with them. Task 2. FFA – Activity Task for FA Pair work: Read the dialogue, find the key words relating to hobby. What are Aru’s and Lena’s hobbies? How old is Aru? Who is Timur? Act out any part of the dialogue Descriptors: 1. Read the dialogue. 2.Find the key words relating hobbies 3. Find out what are Aru’s and Leana’s hobbies 4. Define how old Aru is. 5. Define who Timur is. 6. Act out a part of this dialogue – According to Student’s wish Formative Assessment: “Auction” Students fill in the answer sheet and change it with other pairs to Peer assessment. We have 5 pairs and they have their numbers, Teacher draws 5 boxes on a flipchart and pairs can give their STAR only for one pair according to the Descriptors. (Teacher gives every pair one STAR) Task 3 W: Look at the words in blue in the dialogue. Then choose the correct words to complete the rules. 1. We use too/enough after adjectives and before nouns 2. We use too/enough before adjectives Task 4 I: Complete the sentences with too or enough. Make up your own 2-3 sentences with too/ enough 1. This bike is -------- expensive. I haven’t got ------- money to buy it. Descriptors: 1. Read the sentences 2. Complete the sentences with too or enough 3. Make up your own sentences with too/enough FA: peer assessment Students change their exercise books with their partners and assess the work according to the criteria: - if there is no mistake in 5 sentences and correctly structured own sentences in the work, write a comment “good job” - if there are 1-2 mistakes, write a comment “be attentive with …”, - if there are more than 3 mistakes, write a comment “revise how to use “too and enough” and try to do it better” |

Learners can use modal verbs correctly. They can differentiate types of hobby.
