Group A. Read about Ivan Mirsky

Ivan is thirteen and he is the number 13 chess player in the world. He was born in Russia but now he lives in America in a one - room flat with his parents. He doesn’t go to school. He practises chess every day. Ivan was different from a young age: he could ride a bike when he was eighteen months old and read before he was two.

Zhansaya is fifteen. She is a Kazakh chess grandmaster. She has about 20 medals. She was born in Almaty. She goes to school. She often practises chess. Zhansaya was different from a young age: she could play chess when she was five. She is good at Maths. She likes painting, playing hadmiton. She also goes swimming.
