Teacher asks the students to mime the actions when they enter the classroom, and then greets the students. Teacher, asks the students to choose for one balloons on the board and teacher divided the students into two groups. Teacher asks to come for one student each group to the blackboard, and take balloon then flying the balloon they should make the puzzle. After making the puzzle they refer the theme of the lesson and the name of the group. Then pop the balloons and see the letter in it. Teacher elicits the theme of the lesson by asking what pictures they have and asks why the classroom decorated with balloons and how it is connected with topic. Sets the lesson objectives |
Students mime the actions on steps and greet the teacher Students choose for one balloon from the blackboard and divided into groups. Students from each group come to the board, choose the balloon flying it without dropping they make puzzle. Then, they guess the theme and the name of the group. And, by popping the balloon SS see the letters, from the text. |

Teacher asks students who has microphone to read the text, and after reading, they have to write the names of the holidays choosing the right options.
Teacher asks to look at blue words on the text presents new words through the slides using ECDW (elicit, check, drill, write) technique. Vocabulary: fireworks, wait patiently, behave badly, get presents, smile cheerfully, don’t have to go, competitions, celebrate, decorate, drees beautifully, sing happily:
Pointing at the words in blue in the text and work with vocabulary teacher elicits the rule and form of adverbs with the help of ex 3 p.62. (adverbs modifies verbs He drives carefully- the adverbs carefully modifiers the verb drives) add +ly suffix
Teacher asks to students to close their eyes and listen to the sound of water.(during the listening) Teacher sticks the spider behind the chair. Teacher asks to do ex. 4 on p.62 Teacher gives the sentences students choose the right suffix from the board.
The teacher asks the students to express their opinion about the holiday using words they have learned.

Students read the text. After reading the text, they choose right names of holidays. Students work with new words, listen, read and repeat then write on copybook. Students answer the questions find the rules and forms of the adverbs with the help of teacher. The make notes in the copy books Students who finds the spider make sentences… Ss close their eyes for 1min and listen to the sound of water. Then they open their eyes, look at their chairs, and find the spiders. Students first hold the separated words and one of them choose right suffix from the board and connect it, then read and write. Students using new words prepare speaking task. |
