The aim of the lesson: To enrich students' knowledge; to consolidate their active vocabulary; to develop communicative skills and group work; to bring up respect and love to country studying states and to their Motherland.

Objectives: at the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to:

• use thematically vocabulary in oral speech. 
• develop their speaking and listening skills.

Leader: Hello dear guests! Good afternoon, friends! We are happy to see you at our intellectual game which is devoted to the famous book “Harry Potter”. I am sure you are fond of it. This intellectual game will show your achievements and your knowledge of the matter.

Let me introduce our players.

Leader : Ok. Well done. Now I will explain you the rules. The aim of the game is to choose the question and give the right answer. You see, there are 5 categories and also the prize of the questions. Cheaper questions are easier, more expensive are more difficult. Let’s decide who is the first. Take the cards with numbers in which turn we are going to play.

Every team has a chance to choose one category from: All About Harry, Interesting facts, Hogwarts, Different, Other characters.

Then you choose the prize of the question. The team which has chosen the question should answer first. If they have no answer or their answer is wrong, other teams have a chance to answer after raising their hands.
Leader: You should be active and intelligent because you have only three opportunities to choose the questions. That means we are going to play three circles. And our judges will count the points you scored and we will know the winners.
