Greeting. T tells the class to make groups of 2. Warm up: Show images of different workplaces. Ask: What jobs can you see? Which job uses technology the most? Elicit ideas and write key words on the board. |
Learners read the given sentences on the board and guess the topic and share with their ideas. |

Ex: 1 P: 63 Direct students’ attention to the pictures and the speech bubbles. Ask students to read what each person says carefully. Explain that they should match each person to the correct office personality from the list. Give students sufficient time to complete the task individually (or in pairs, if appropriate). Monitor and support where necessary. Check students’ answers with the whole class. Ask students to justify their choices using words from the speech bubbles. Differentiation: Weaker students: Pre-teach key vocabulary from the biography. Stronger students: Encourage them to summarise his importance in one or two sentences.
