Warm up (3 min) Activity: "Where Would You Go?" Start by asking students to think about places they would like to visit in the world and why. Encourage them to share with the class. The teacher suggests watching a video and answer the questions. Then guess the topic of the lesson. (3 min) What places did/ didn’t you visit? What places would you like to visit? What do you think about traveling? Do you like to travel? Why do you travel? Briefly introduce the theme of the lesson: "Travel and Tourism in Kazakhstan." As you have seen, there are a lot of interesting and beautiful places in Kazakhstan that could attract the attention of not only foreign tourists, but also local tourists too. Do you agree with me? Vocabulary Introduction Activity: (3 min) "Kazakhstan Tourism Word Wall" Prepare a list of important vocabulary words related to tourism in Kazakhstan and write them on the board. Examples include: Landmarks, nomadic culture, yurt, mountains, adventure tourism, steppes, ancient, quirky, major, hospitable, vast, rare Exploring Kazakhstan’s Tourist Attractions (5 min) Read and listen to the travel brochure. Match the headings with paragraphs Ex: 2 P:100 Teacher give students a minute to read the headings. In a stronger class, you might want students to listen without reading and match the headings to the texts they hear (1–10). Check answers as a class. Do students agree with the selection of reasons Differentiation: Learners will be supported by teacher and by helpers from his class. Creative Task (5 minutes). Activity: "Design a Tourism Poster" Ask students to work in groups to design a travel poster for Kazakhstan and present it to the class, then vote for the best design. The poster should include:

Art Project: In a stronger class, if time permits, students could make a 3D model of their postery using craft supplies or a digital 3D design tool. Money and jobs from tourism provide conditions for preserving country’s environment and cultural heritage. Case: How can we make Kazakhastan more popular tourist destination for both foreign and domestic tourists? Offer some solutions to the problems and give your reasons.
