Plants.
From the tiny buttercup to
the giant redwood tree, plants come in all colors ,shapes and size.
But plants are not only reach in colour and variety-they are
central to life on Earth. They create food for animals to eat .By
forming habitats ,such as fish rainforest and shady woodlands ,they
provide a place for animals to live .Plants are living things that
are usually rooted in the ground or live in water. Unlike animals
they cannot move from place to place. The main parts of plants are
roots, the stream and the leaves. Some plants called meat-eating
plants ,get extra food from eating insect and other small animals
.Plants provide food for many animals, including human beings. Non
flowering plants can be divided into two main groups –those that
reproduce by spores, such as ferns ,and those that reproduce by
seed ,such as coniferous plants

trees.
On the surface of the earth
is the ground. A plants

its roots are under the ground. The roots get food for the tree out
of the earth ;they also hold the tree to the ground when the wind
blows. In autumn
new green leaves come out
again on the branches, and also pink or white blossom which will
give fruit later, in summer or in autumn. Which part of a plant do
