Много лет назад жил жестокий хан и был у него сын Хусаин. Друзья и и товарищи любили и уважали доброго Хусаина. Однажды он не вернулся с охоты. Случилось горе. Юношу растерзал дикий вепрь. Бедные слуги боялись наказания за страшную весть. Мудрый пастух Али решил помочь им. Утром мастер Али держал в руках никому незнакомый музыкальный инструмент. Он назвал его домброй. Перед ханом она запела, как живая, рассказала о случившемся. Отец в ярости и горе приказал плеснуть на инструмент горячий свинец.
