Warm-up

Сolorful threads” method

Warming up is logycal preporation for a lesson,checking homework and guess the topic of the lesson.


Divide into two groups with metro tickets, it shows which group he or she will be in.

Lead – In.

Brainstorming method” show students the photo of Almaty Metro, which students must describe and answer the questions about the metro system to determine the aim of the lesson.

Students answer to the question and create friendly atmosphere.

Students choose colorful threads and find the answers to the crossword and try to find the name of the topic.


Students take metro tickets, create positive atmosphere and divided 2 groups.

«The praise» method is used to evaluate students with phrases like:

Matching method

Ask students if they ever use the metro system or trains to other cities. Get them to think of adjectives to describe the trains and the system. When the students have matched the words with the opposite meaning, go through the answers making sure students can pronounce the words correctly.








Differentiation:

«Verbal support» method is used to help Students use new words in the text.


Ex: 2 P:88 (Individual work)

Tell students to follow the text as you play the CD. They should listen only to check whether the sentences are true or false and correct the false sentences. Then students should listen again to find more seven adjectives from the text.









Ex: 3 P:88 (Pair work)

Who is faster? method

Read through the sentences with students and then give them a few minutes to complete the rules.

Ask students to write other examples of using the present simple.
