Get them to think of adjectives to describe the trains and the system, for example, quiet or noisy, on time or late, etc. • When the students have matched the words with the opposite meaning, go through the answers making sure students can pronounce the words correctly. Drill the longer words if necessary. Differentiation: «Verbal support» method is used to help Students use new words in the text. Ex: 2 P:87 • Tell students to follow the text as you play the CD. They should listen only to check whether the sentences are true or false. • In a stronger class, play the CD straight through. Ex: 3 P:87 • Read through the sentences with students and then give them a few minutes to complete the rules. • Ask students to think of other examples of using the present simple, for example, ‘This class ends at …’
