Pre-reading stage. As Sts guess, the lesson will be devoted to the theme: " National Heroes. My Country". Firstly, give a definition to the word " Hero". Who are your Kazakh Heroes? Why? A Hero: is a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. "a war hero"
My Kazakh Hero is....... because................. The teacher asks Sts if they agree or not with this statement. Sts discuss this task in pairs. The main part of the lesson Task 1 Teacher suggests looking at 3 photos of famous people and in groups think about the question who these people are and what are they famous for? Find out the information about them and fill in a table. Compare your answers.

Task: Find in the text 5 words or phrases that you had difficulty reading or understand in the story. |
