Warm-up

Pupils walk around the classroom and put words in the given table. Then pupils check the given word phrases together and repeat in a group, in pairs and individually.

Task. Listen to song “The weather” and guess the theme and then sing.

Learners listen to song, guess and sing a song. (What’s the weather like today? It’s cloudy/snowy/sunny/rainy/windy/hot/cold/foggy/warm/stormy )

Activity 2. Pupils do exercise 3.

Explain the activity. Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity. Then ask individual pupils to report back to the class.

Pupils divide sport types into two groups as winter and summer activities.
