Greeting & Objectives Warm Up: Greet students and let them take their places. Ask some lesson-opening questions. i.e. What date is it today? What day is it today? What is the topic of the lesson? Etc. Write the objective(s) on the board. Draw students’ attention to the lesson objective(s), make sure they all understand them (ask simple comprehension checking questions if necessary) |

Listen and read. Do you know any other puppet shows? Tell the class. Ex 31 • Pupils’ books closed. Put the pictures of puppets on the board. Ask them, in L1 if necessary, to tell you what they are and if they have ever been to a puppet show. • Pupils’ books open. Ask the pupils to look at the pictures. Have a picture discussion
Individual task: Each student is given an individual task on a card
Group task: Puzzle game We divide students into three groups, one student leaves each group and approaches the teacher to pick up the envelope. The envelope contains two jigsaw puzzles that need to be connected.
