Quest game “Magic station”

Quest goal:

- improving the forms and methods of extracurricular and out-of-school work for students

to study English through involving them in entertaining interactive activities;

- generalization of lexical and grammatical material on the topics studied;

- developing interest in learning English.

Tasks:

• repeat and consolidate the studied material;

• develop the ability to apply acquired knowledge in a new communicative situation

• create positive motivation for learning English and a joyful mood in the classroom;

• develop the ability to work in a team;

• teach children to see the results of collective activity.

Rules for the quest game:

The quest game " Magic station " is a series of tasks that are carried out sequentially by commands. At 5 stages of the game, children will enjoy various competitions and quizzes, and at the end - a “sweet prize”. Each team must complete a number of tasks within a certain time. Completing each task gives you the opportunity to move on to the next stage.

Equipment:

• tasks for each station;

• multimedia board;

• presentations;

• prizes for awarding.
