Organizing moment.

Good morning!

What is the date today?

What's the day of the week today?


Warm up.

There is the rhyme on the board. I read, pupils repeat after me all together. I translate the rhyme with pupils. Then I wipe out one word and children should remember.


- Let's train pronunciation.

We go by car

And we go by train.

We go by boat,

We go by plain.

We go by land

And sea and air.





Actualization and motivation of the lesson


T: Look at the slide, please. What can you see?

P: Cities.

T: You’re right. Today we are going to get information about different countries and their transport.


To do it we should:

- revise the words connected with our topic;

- read the text and watch the video;

- Ansewer the question about today’s theme

- To learn how to use by, on, in.

  • More support can be givenin the middle of lesson by providing less-able learners with story vocabulary in a word list so they can see pictures of them.
