Прилагательное (Adjective) – это самостоятельная часть речи, которая
указывает на признак лица, предмета или понятия и отвечает на
вопрос «какой?». В английском языке они не имеют категории рода
и числа, поэтому не меняют своей формы. Прилагательные чаще
всего используются с существительными и в предложениях
выступают определением или именной частью
составного сказуемого.

Confusing adjectives
endings
1. Parallel adjectives with
-ic and -ical endings.
They are similar in their
forms and origins but somewhat different in their meanings and

sometimes could be both adjectives and

They have same root, but
translated and used in different ways, depending on the
