The aims:

1.To check pupils’knowledge from English, Kazakh and Russian through playing games, doing different tasks 
2. To develop pupils’ reading, speaking and thinking abilities and inlarge their vocabulary. 
3. To bring up the pupils the lovers of language of English and teach to be attentive and curiosity 

The host:

Good morning dear pupils, teachers and guests! Welcome to our intellectual show. We are glad to see you and we hope that you’ll enjoy today’s game. Our language is connected with our thought and sense.Dear guests, teachers and pupils! Welcome to our competition "The pretty girls and clever guys”! The pupils of 4^th forms take part in this game. 
Well, we begin our game and let’s meet our participants.

Let me introduce you with our teams. The first team is called "The light star”.
The captain of each team comes here, takes out cards. There are numbers 1 and 2, who take number 1, that starts our competition.Our competition consists of 5 stages.

The 1-st stage is: ‘Baiga’

The 2-nd stage is: ‘Polyglot’

The 3-rd stage is: ‘Zhorga’

The 4-th stage is: ‘Work with picture’

And we have dear jury that will marks our players. Let me introduce them to you.

Zhonelbayeva Nassiba – the teacher of English.

Kirbayeva Gulfairus – the teacher of English.

Reushenova Gaukhar– the teacher of English.

Players! Are you ready for this competition? Then let`s begin!

The 1-st stage – ‘Baiga’. I`ll give you more words or sentences  for each team  that you studied at the last lessons. You must translate them into English.  For right answer 10 marks.

The first team is "The light star”.

Жақсы қарақшы – a good pirate

Жаман қарақшы – a bad pirate

Қарақшының кемесі – a pirate ship

 Сиқырлы тау – magic mountain

Ұшу –  to  fly

Кеме – a boat

Баскетбол ойнау –  to play basketball

Өлең айту –  to  sing

Көмектесу –  to help

Сиқырлы сөздер – magic words

Ағылшын тілінде сөйлеу – to speak in english

So, the 1-st stage is over.

The 2-d stage, which calls ‘Poliglot’. I`ll say you some Kazakh proverbs, you must find the missed words and say into Kazakh, Russian and English languages. For right answer 30 marks.

So, the 2-nd stage is over. Our jury give your marks for teams.

Let’s begin the 3-d stage : “Zhorga”. In this stage pupils must choose the questions from the tables. The first choose player which have the more marks. One question 10 marks, 5 questions 50 marks

So, the 3-rd stage is over.

Let’s begin the 4-th stage  calls ‘work with picture’. I’ll show you pictures, you must say what you can see in the picture.     

The 4-th stage  ‘work with picture’.

It’s a tiger. It’s jumping. It’ s  an orange and white tiger.

It’s a dog. It’s playing.  It’s black and white dog.

They are elephants. They are running. They are grey elephants.

They are horses. They are walking. They are brown  horses.

So, the 4-th stage is over.  By our rule 2 players, who got less acces must leave our competition

.Conclusion. So the competition  “The clever boys and pretty girls ” is over. The jury count the marks of our players. By our rule  player who got less acces must leave our competitionTo give a diplomas to the winner of “The clever boys and pretty girls ” and players. Thanks for teachers and pupils.
