Asking homework Ask the students to do a homework. Invite them to come to the interactive whiteboard and play the game on the platform.

Warming up

Ask today’s date and day.

Ask about the weather.

Hand out the assessment sheets.

Lead-in Ask the students to watch the video “The Four Friends – Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.”
After watching, ask the students questions to help introduce the topic (for example:
Who are the four friends? What do they do in each season?).
Encourage students to share their answers and talk about their favo
urite season. Use the students’ responses to open and introduce the topic of the lesson.

Learners greet the teacher.









Students come to the interactive whiteboard and start the game. The game called “thief cat” on the platform “Umaigra”



Watch the video carefully.
Answer the teacher’s questions about the four friends and what they do in each season.
Talk about your favourite season and why you like it.

Teacher controles the process, gives feedback and asks additional questions if it’s nessasery.

Show the new words on the interactive whiteboard. Point to the items, one at a time, and say the corresponding words. The pupils repeat, chorally and/or individually. Point to each item in random order. Ask individual pupils to name them.

Play the audio.

Play the audio a second time, pausing after each word.

Say : My favourite season is winter. Point to a pupil and ask: What’s your favourite season? Encourage the pupil to answer your question. Repeat the process with the rest of the pupils.

To consolidate the new vocabulary, play the “Grab It First” game.
Explain the instructions of the game to the students. Pair up the students and call them to the board. Show pictures of sports and sports equipment using the cards. Ask the student who knows the word to press the bell first. In the end, announce the student who gave the most correct answers as the winner.

Show the video to the students. Ask them what they understood from it.
Model the dialogue on the interactive whiteboard and ask the class to repeat the sentences several times.
Give each pair a cupcake-shaped card with the question: “When is your birthday?” Ask them to complete the dialogue on their cards. Then they rehearse and act out the dialogue in front of the class. Group work. Ex 2 p 43

Divide the students into small groups.

Give each group a poster with the four seasons and several pictures.
Ask the students to match the pictures to the correct season on the poster (for example, a pumpkin → Autumn).
Monitor the groups as they work and provide help if needed.
Encourage students to say the season out loud as they place each picture.

Individual task

Hand out the worksheets to the students. Explain to them that they need to fill in the missing letters to complete the words. Example: a_t__m autumn

Conclusion task Explain the activity. Ask children play the game on umaigra platform.

Students participate in the “Grab It First” game by pressing the bell when they know the correct word.
