Brainstorming. Look at the picture! What can you see in this picture? How do you think what about our new theme?
Warm-up “Broken phone” everyone stands in a semicircle and a sentence will be said to one of the players, he must pass it on to the others and at the end the last player must say this sentence correctly. “Remembrance Day is very important in Australia”
We have some new words! I give you cards were printed new words,after that listen to me carefully!Then repeat after me and read one by one. 1.war 2.honour 3.fighting 4.memorial 5.bugle 6.silence 7.pinned 8.poppy 9.battlefields
Exercise 1 I give you cards with the task,in this task you should find hidden words and these words from your vocabulary! For this task I give you three minutes. Then you change your desk mate and check each other and write your names.
Exercise 2 Listen and look at the video ! Then we read the text one by one sentence at a time and translate the text. After that,you should match the headings with text,in the box!
Exercise 3 Now the next task,complete the sentences with these words, it’s like a military man with a parachute,you should complete the sentences!
Exercise 4 Here you can see the cards, you raise your hand and follow them with your eyes closed, when I say stop you must stop and take this card, words will be written there with which you must make sentences and write these sentences in your copybooks. |
