The Theme of the competetion : “Funny English”

The aim: To develop the pupils intellect, to practice listening speaking, to teach children to be attentive kind and polite, to bring up feelings of friendship and respect to teach other.

The type: an intellectual show

The visual aids: slides, placards, markers, a computer, an interactive board, pictures.

The procedure of the game:

Good morning , dear guests, our teachers and spectators. Welcome to our intellect show. We are glad to see you and we hope that you’ll enjoy today’s game

And now let’s introduce the teams

The pupils take the cards. We have two teams.

I-team “Clever”

II-team “Smart”

-There are 6 rounds in the game . The answers of players will be checked by the jury.

I.The 1^st round: “Introduction”

IV. The 4^th round: “Main stage”

V. The 5^th round: “A magic 5”

VI The 6^th round: “Song and rhymes”

-Here are the tasks of the 1^st round . You will be given two minutes for doing this task. For each correct answer you get one point.

IV.The 4^th round: “Main stage”

And now we come to the 1 st contest of the game called “The ABC game”. You”ll get some letters from the English alphabet. You must put the letters in the right order, so as to get the name of the English-speaking country. You have 1 minute at your disposal.

Each team can get 5 points.

And now we come to the 2^nd contest which is called “A magic 5”

Look at the square, each team will take turns in answering questions. Captians will choose any number. You can get 5 points for the right answer.
