Way: competition.

The aims:

1. The develop the childrens’s pronunciation in English.

2. The develop their thinking, sheaking.

3. To check their knowledge.

Equipment: an interactive board, the pictures of Great Britain, animals. The map of the Great Britain.

-Dear teachers and spectators! Welcome to our competition that calls “The leader of XXI century”. Let me introduce you our players.

Our competition consists of 5 stages.

The 1-st stage is: “Baiga”

The 2-nd stage is: “Polyglot”

The 3-rdstage is: “Zhorga”

The 4-thstage is: “Work with picture”

The 5-thstage is: “Writer”

-And we have dear jury that will marks our players. Let me introduce them to you.

-Players! Are you ready for this compitation? Then let`s begin!

The 1-st stage is --`Baiga`. I`ll give you 6 words for each player that you studied at the last lessons. You must translate them into English. For right answer 10marks.

The 2-nd stage, which calls `Poliglot`. I`ll say you some Kazakh proverbs, you must find the missed words and say into Kazakh, Russian and English languages. For right answer 20 marks.

So, the 2-nd stage is over. Our jury give your marks for players 2 players who got less balls must leave our compitation.

Let`s begin the 3-rd stage: ”Zhorga”. In this stage pupils must choose the questions from the tables. The first choose player which have the more marks. One question 10 marks, 5 questions 50 marks.

--So the third stage is over. Let`s begin the 4-th stage calls `work with picture`. I`ll give you pictures, you must say what you see in the picture. I`ll give you 5 minutes. A tiger, a dog, a horse, a cat.

The last control stage is `Writer`. The theme `About my family`. You must write a short topic and retell it. I`ll give you 5 minutes.

Conclusion. So the competition “the leader of XXI century ” is over. The jury count the marks of our players. By our rule player who got less aces must leave our competition. To give a diplomas to the winner of “The leader of XXI century” and players. Thank you for teachers and pupils. I wish you success and good luck.
