Give Ss Task 1 and Ss discuss the questions in their groups. 1. Why shepherd decided to leave his village? (Because he had no money and no land)
2. Who did they go to ask for advice? (They went to ask a wise man) 3. Where did the student go? (He wnt to the city)
Explain the Task 2. Read the text again and find 5 sentences in Pr. Perfect. 1. ‘I’ve lived here since I was born, but I have to leave now’, he told his neighbour, who was a farmer. 2. We’ve been friends for twenty years. 3.The land has been yours two years. 4. ‘We’ve argued about this gold since we found it’, said the shepherd. 5. ‘I’ve travelled for three days,’ the student thought.
