The role of motivation in EFL writing learning
Abstract
Motivation is an important factor in specifying the readiness of learners to communicate. Motivation refers to the combination of attempt plus desire to obtain the objective of learning the language plus desirable attitudes towards learning the language. There have been a lot of research studies on the role of motivation in education and language learning. However, research on the role of motivation in the area of EFL (English as a foreign language) writing is a rare undertaking. This study aimed to examine the correlation between EFL students' motivation in writing and their writing proficiency. It also compared female and male students in terms of their motivation in writing and their writing proficiency. I think that motivating students while writing will increase their enthusiasm for learning. If you don't motivate students while writing, they won't be able to increase their desire to learn English. The role of motivation is special. If the teacher says kind words to you and tells you that you can do anything, this is motivation.

Introduction
The purpose of research of this topic: the importance of the role of motivation in English In the field of second language learning, motivation is considered to be a variable that affects success in second language learning. In today's situation, the role of knowing a foreign language is increasing. Learning any foreign language requires intensive and hard work. It is clear that motivation is needed for such intellectual activity to be high. In this regard, the problems of motivation are becoming more relevant, they are also studied by teachers, psychologists, and methodologists. If you increase your knowledge in English, your enthusiasm for education will increase. English Writing Facilitates Business Communication.Business professionals frequently encounter the challenge of dealing with multinational business counterparts and colleagues who differ in multiple ways in how they interpret and process written communication. Motivation is the key to success in education. When students are motivated, they are more likely to be engaged and interested in their studies. They are more likely to attend classes, participate in discussions, complete assignments, and study for exams.
As a future English teacher, I would give the following motivation to students to learn English: everything is within your power, you can write everything without mistakes, you can travel freely if you know English. People should be motivated so that they can understand their mistakes while writing in English. A person should be on the way to learn English so as not to repeat that mistake. It is necessary to know the benefit of that motivation to a person. Motivation refers to the desire and desire to achieve the goal of language learning and a set of desirable attitudes toward language learning. That is, the motivation to learn a second language refers to the extent to which a person works or tries to learn a language due to his desire to learn a language and his satisfaction in performing this task. Effort alone does not indicate motivation.
What are the conditions that increase motivation?
According to Gardner and Lambert [1972]. students are motivated to learn when they consider themselves to be competent, when they deal with materials arranged according to their level, when they see a purpose in their activities, when they consider their learning important, when they are given difficult work, and when they live. safe environment, opportunity to express psychological needs for success, recognition and acceptance, think that learning is for them, not for them
their teachers work with interesting materials, have the opportunity to make decisions and feel the responsibility of participation, and have more success than failure.
Researchers and educators have long been interested in learner motivation since it is closely connected to achievement and desired outcomes. Lumsden [1994] defines motivation as learners’ willingness to take part in the language learning process.
Campbell and Sarac[2018] proposed that the technology is integrated into language learning at an increasing rate in order to boost students’ motivation and maximise their understanding of the content.
Process writing is one of three models in teaching writing: writing as a product, writing as a process (or process writing), and writing as a social activity [Miller, 1999]. A writing-as-a-product model focuses on the end product of a written activity that must be presented to the teacher.
White and Arndt [1991] argue that process writing is a recursive process that consists of five stages: drafting, focusing, evaluating, generating ideas, and restructuring. The five stages are controlled by reviewing, meaning that a writer may stop at any particular stage to review what has been written before continuing to the next stage. This study adopted a model of process writing consisting of five stages: planning, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing [Abas & Aziz, 2018; Grenville, 2001].
