Elizabeth II's full name is Elizabeth
Alexandra Mary. She was born on April 21, 1926. She never
went to school and was taught by home tutors. In 1947 she married
Prince Philip; he was created Duke of Edinburgh. A year later she
gave birth to a son, Charles. In 1950 she gave a birth to a
daughter, Anne. Elizabeth succeeded to the throne after the death
of her father in February in 1952. Her second son, Andrew, was born
in 1960 and the third, Edward, in 1964. The Queen is Head of State
of the UK and 15 other Commonwealth realms. The elder daughter of
King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, she was born in 1926 and became
Queen at the age of 25, and has reigned through more than five
decades of enormous social change and
development.
Prince Philip, Duke of
Edinburgh is the husband of Elizabeth II. They were married on 20 November 1947. He has spent over
fifty years by the side of his wife, has become known for his
outspoken opinions. They have four children and eight
grandchildren. The Prince of Wales, the eldest son of Queen
Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.The Prince was
born at Buckingham Palace on 14 November 1948, and was christened
Charles Philip Arthur George.On 29 July 1981, The Prince of Wales
married Lady Diana Spencer .The marriage was dissolved on 28
August, 1996. The Princess was killed in a car crash in Paris on 31
August 1997Prince William is the elder son of The Prince of Wales
and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.On 29 April 2011, following
his marriage to Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, the title The Duke
of Cambridge was conferred on him by The Queen.Prince Harry is the
younger son of The Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of
Wales.
