  • Pupils collect the mushrooms in the class and sit down in the groups
  • Group 1 – fairy tale
  • Group 2 – science fiction
  • Group 3 – article in newspaper
  • 2)T: Good morning pupils and our guests. I`m glad to see you in our lesson. Let`s sing the short song. Listen to it. The song “Good morning” Thank you, pupils; please we will continue our lesson. Look and the blackboard, listen to the short story and answer my question: What you can see at this video and name the theme of our lesson.P: The Fisherman and the fish.T: And what is the aim of today's lesson?P: We must understand short text and can detail in short.3) Brainstorming. Do you enjoy reading?Do you have a library at home?Who is your favourite Russian writer?What is your favourite book?4) Work in groups. Look at the pictures and which one shows.

Listen to the Pushkin`s biography.And answer the questions:Who was Alexander Pushkin?Where was he from?When was he born?You may be add the information about this author.P1: Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is one of the greatest Russian poets of all times. He was a famous writer of Romantic era. Pushkin was born in 1799 in Moscow but spent most of his youth in the village near St Petersburg, in Tsarskoye Selo.P2: His family lived in Moscow and was of upper-class, his parents spoke French, but his granny taught him to speak Russian. A young Alexander spent his childhood with his nurse Arina Rodionovna, who told him fairy tales.7) Warm-up. “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”.8) Use the adjectives to complete the summary of the Fisherman and the Fish. Do Ex.6 p.77.9) Role play. Each group has a card with the short text from the fairy tale “The Fisherman and the Fish”
