  • spell the words accurately

  • define and remember the seasons and months in a proper way

- Good day, children!


(W) Warm-up. “Phonetic drill”


Whether the weather is fine

Whether the weather is not

Whether the weather is cold

Whether the weather is hot


(W,I,f ) Brainstorming. “Guess the sound”


Teacher will greet learners and start the lesson with a warm up. Then teacher will turn an audio with the sound weather. And then teacher`s question for learners will be:

  • What do you think?

  • What will we talk about today’s lesson?

  • What is your favourite weather?

  • Do you prefer cold or hot weather?

  • What’s the weather like in Aksai?

  • What kind of seasons do you know?

  • What are winter/spring/ summer/ autumn months?

  • What is the weather like in winter/spring/ summer/ autumn?

  • What do children like to do in winter/spring/ summer/ autumn?

  • What is the coldest/ hottest season in the year?

Then students guess the theme of the lesson.
