Look at the photos and listen to an interview with Ken Ford. Choose the correct answer. Ken Ford is going to study… Answers: c.ice in the Antractic in the summer. While – listening Task 1 The task can be given to less-able learners. Ask learners to read the instruction of Task 1. Check your understanding. Listen again and write True or False. 1.Ken is going to work to the South Pole. True 2.He won’t see polar bears. True 3.He thinks he will see penguins. True 4.It won’t be very cold in November . False 5.It will be very windy there. True 6.He’s going to take his mobile phone. False Exercise 6. Ask and answer the questions about the weather.Use the phrases in the box and words in exercises 1 and 3. Today,yesterday,last weekend ,tomorrow, in winter/summer/autumn/spring/November. -What’s the weather like today? -It’s hot and sunny today. What’s the weather usually like in November? -It’s usually cold and there’s sometimes fog.
