Сабақтың
барысы
Leader 1 : Good afternoon, dear
guests and friends!
Welcome
to our English party!
Leader 2: Good day to everybody! We are
happy to see you on our party today!
Leader 1 : Spring is a beautiful
season. It begins in March and ends in May. The weather is usually
fine in spring. Sometimes it rains, but it is warm. Forests, fields
and trees in parks, gardens and streets are green. There you can
see white, red, blue and yellow flowers.
Leader 2: Birds come back from warm
countries and rivers become free of ice. Spring is a very important
time for farmers. They must prepare everything for agricultural
work. When spring comes, people in cities and towns try to make all
streets, parks and squares more beautiful and schoolchildren take
an active part in spring cleaning.
“Spring
cleaning”
-
Sweeping,
sweeping, 2. Dusting, dusting,
We must
do the sweeping, We must do the dusting,
We must
get it clean, No specks must be seen,
No dirt
must be seen, We must get it clean,
While
Mother is still sleeping. While Mother is still
sleeping.
-
Polishing, polishing, 4. Now the house is clean and
bright,
We must
do the polishing, Not a speck of dirt in sight.
We must
get a shine, We have cleaned it all away.
A
beautiful shine, No more work until another day.
While
Mother is sleeping. Wake up, wake up, Mother, do!
Come and
see what we’ve done for you.
Leader 1: As you know, in spring there
are three months. They are: March, April and May. March is the
month of the last frost, of melting snow, of the first buds and
green, of earliest spring flowers, of the first migratory
birds.
March
brings breezes, loud and shrill,
To stir
the dancing daffodil.
“Spring is coming”
-
Spring is
coming, spring is coming,
Birdies,
build your nest;
Weave
together straw and feather
Doing
each your best.
-
Spring is
coming, spring is coming,
Flowers
are coming too.
Pansies,
lilies, daffodillies,
Now are
coming through.
3. Spring
is coming, spring is coming,
All
around is fair;
Shimmer
and quiver on the river,
Joy is
everywhere.
Leader 2: April is the month of heavy
spring rains, of the return of birds, of new grass, of new leaves,
of spring flowers.
April
brings the primrose sweet,
Scatters
daisies at our feet.
“Spring”
-
Sound the
Flute
Now it’s
mute.
Birds
delight
Day and
night;
Nightingale
In the
dale,
Lark in
sky
Merrily,
Merrily,
merrily, to welcome in the Year.
-
Little
boy,
Full of
joy;
Little
girl
Sweet and
small;
Cock does
crow,
So do
you;
Merry
voice,
Infant
noise,
Merrily,
merrily, to welcome in the Year.
Leader 1: May is the month of blossoming
fruit-trees, of late spring flowers, of singing
birds.
May
brings flocks of pretty lambs
Skipping
by their fleecy dams.
“In the Merry Month of
May”
-
In the
merry month of May
All the
violets are gay.
They all
dance, and sing, and say,
Winter
days are far away,
Winter
days are far away,
Welcome,
welcome, merry May!
-
In the
merry month of May
All the
little birds are gay
They all
dance, and sing, and say,
Winter
days are far away,
Winter
days are far away,
Welcome,
welcome, merry May!
-
In the
merry month of May
All the
children are so gay.
They all
play, and sing, and say,
Winter
days are far away,
Winter
days are far away,
Welcome,
welcome, merry May!
“Spring”
Spring,
spring, spring!
The trees
are green,
Blue
skies are seen,
Grey
winter’s gone away,
The world
looks new and gay.
Song
“”
Leader 1 : It is May now. We have
some holidays in May such as May Day and Victory
Day.
May Day
is a good holiday in our country. We all like it. But let’s speak
about how the May Day holiday began in England. On the first Sunday
of May the English people who lived in villages like to go into the
forest and fields. They usually took a tree back with them and put
it in the centre of the village. The children danced round it and
the men and women took part in games around it.The first May Day
was celebrated in England in 1890, when the workers decided to
fight for an eight-hour working day and an end to the very long
hours that they worked. In London, the workers marched from all
places to a meeting in Hyde Park. This demonstration showed their
unity and solidarity.
“Spring is
here”
1. Spring is here, spring is
here!
And you are
near.
The leaves will soon be
green
And still you are not
seen.
Soon the violets will all
peep,
And you are fast
asleep.
2. In the
spring, in the spring, 3. When trees are green
Sweet and
fresh is everything. And forests are green,
Winter
winds are no more blowing. And grass is green and
long
In the
fields all is growing, It’s good to walk in the
forests
In the
spring, in the spring And listen to little birds’
songs.
Sweet and
fresh is everything!
Leader 2 : Victory day is a great
holiday in our country and in many other countries. It is the
holiday of all people. On this day millions of people celebrate the
victory over the German fascists in 1945. In all the towns there
are decorations, flags, and slogans in the streets. In the evening
there is a holiday salute and a minute of silence to remember all
those who did not come back from the war. On that day there usually
is military parade in all big cities of our country. In the TV
holiday concert songs of the Great Patriotic War are sung. War
veterans also come to take part in the programme and speak about
how they fought for their country. Young people must not forget the
heroes, they must be ready to defend their country against all
enemies.
“A child’s
wish”
I want to live, and not to
die!
I want to laugh, and not to
cry.
I want to feel the summer
sun.
I want to sing the life is
fun.
I want to fly into the
blue.
I want to swim as fishes
do.
I want to stretch out friendly
hands
To all the young of other
lands.
“Friendship begins with
smiling”
Then the
white clouds with the seas
We’ll
dance together by all means,
Even
silver fish will sing, with gay smiles shining.
It was a
very little thing,
Now the
river’s waters sing;
Well, and
friendship, as a rule, begins with smiling.
Leader 1: In spring nature awakens. It
gets warmer day by day. The sun usually shines brightly. Trees come
into leaf; apple and cherry burst into blossom.
Leader 2: Birds sing loudly in forests.
Gardeners are busy with work in their orchards. Spring is usually
the time of hope and happiness.
Song
“”
Leader 1: The weather is changeable in
spring. The sky is clouded. We are in for rain. After the rain the
air is remarkably fresh. What lovely weather!
Leader 2: Every season is beautiful in
its own way. To my mind, spring is the best!
“Spring
rhymes”
1.
Merrily, merrily, 2. It’s lovely, lovely spring
All the
spring. And birds begin to sing.
Merrily,
merrily, The sun is very high,
Small
birds sing. It’s smiling in the sky.
All
through April, It’s lovely, lovely spring
All
through May And all the children sing,
Small
birds merrily They sing a merry song,
Carol all
day. They sing ding-dong, ding-dong.
Leader 1: Thank you very much, dear
friends! And now we are going to see the play:
“Which is
better: the Truth or a Lie?”
Leader 2: We thank all the pupils for
their participation. Our party is over. Thank you for your
attention, dear guests!
Leader 1: I am delighted with the
holiday party. I hope you’ve had a nice time too. So it’s time to
say goodbye. See you soon!
