Lead in: For revising previous lesson learners should look at the blackboard and say the classroom objects. Look. What can you see? Yes, you are right. Pre-teaching the new words: listen and repeat on the table, in the bag, under the table, put. Teacher shows the picture on the active board. Put the pen on the table, put the ruler in the bag etc. Then they watch the video “Where is it?” Where is the monkey? in the box. Where is the bird? on the tree. Where is the snake? under the rock. Where is the book? on the table. Where is the pencil? in the box. Where is the ruler? under the chair. Grammar:
Look at the pictures and answer. Is the book on the table? Yes/ No. Is the bag under the table? Yes/ No. Are the books in the shelf? Yes/ No. Teacher gives each learner individual work, the sentences with pictures. Tick and cross. The cat is on the computer. The cat is in the computer. The cat is under the computer.
Let’s play the game “noisy corridor” Learners come to the blackboard and stay in a line, count 1-2. 1 is one line, 2 is one line, ask questions to eachother using pictures. Where is the book? on the table. Where is the pencil? in the box. Where is the ruler? under the chair.etc.
