And give some questions about it.

I: Today our lesson is called “Awesome animals”

  1. To interview new words and repeat chorally.

Hippo baboon red panda

rhino flamingo small

snow leopard panther big

buffalo deer sharp

eagle

  1. Play the game “hot chair” learners answer the questions about new words.

For example: rhino- мүйізтұмсық- носорог

Eagle- бүркіт- беркут

Each learner answer and give meanings in to Russian and Kazakh.

Teacher gives each correct answer 1 smiles.

  1. Let’s listen CD player and say. Look the picture and answer the questions

- Who is Site?

- Where is she from?

- Can you guess which of these animals live in India?

1st group write animals which lives in India?

2nd group write animals which don’t lives in India?

Assessment: formative assessment by teacher.

Strategy: Inside/outside. Write down animals which lives in India inside the circle and the animals which don’t lives in India outside the circle.

Criteria:

  • Work in groups

Assessment : Learners assess each other by fingers: thumbs up- excellent, thumbs down- bad.

Strategy: “Guess the theme” each learner collect puzzle of pictures about animals and match pictures where necessary and write it.


Physical training :

Learner each group show animals by mimic.

I think my objectives were realistic. Because I see the results. The learners learned some new words belong to the topic “Animals”. Learners took active part in different task and activities, to collaborate working in small groups, shared ideas, tried to ask and answer the questions, make a poster and a diagram, described pictures, gave us a lot of information about animals using internet.

I stick to timing. All my task was done by time. I don’t changes plan of my lesson

Summary evaluation

What two things went really well

  1. To listening CD players and answer the convergent questions was good for learners to develop listening, speaking, thinking skills

  2. Task “vocabulary quiz” was effective to develop learners memory skills.

  1. I think using a strategy during the lesson have improved learners motivation
