Key vocabulary. Saying the theme of the lessonTeacher: The theme of our lesson I suggest you to guess as you look at the slide 1. Here you have some words. Your task is to match the word in English with their equivalent in Russian: big, cheap, expensive, fast, short, new, old, powerful, long, slow, small, tall, young.Now look at these words and say what part are these words and what is the difference between them. Yes, you are right the theme of our lesson is the adjective and comparison of adjectivesAt the end of the lesson you can:
  • describe and compare things
  • enlarge your vocabulary with more adjectives
  • know the parts of computers
III. Presentation.T: Open your books at page 72, ex. 2
  • Look Read the two adverts. What are Ben and Lisa selling? Is Ben’s computer the same as Lisa’s?
  • Now read the sentences. Which is Lisa’s computer? Which is Ben’s? Write near the sentences Ben or Lisa.
  • Complete what Ben and Lisa say with the adjectives given in b. Then listen and check.
