Organization moment: 1.Greeting. Teacher divides students into 2 groups using group generator. 2.Ice-breaker: “Meditation” this meditation will help to create a psychologically positive atmosphere . 3. An experiment with a set of acrylic inks. Teacher shows an example of painting using a set of acrylic inks without brushes. Teacher: 1.What am I doing now? 2. What is unusual in my painting? 3. Could you describe my artwork? 4.What do you know about this style of painting? 5. What other art styles do you know? 6.How do think what we are going to speak about today? What is the topic of the lesson? 4. Teacher introduces the topic and objectives of the lesson. By the end of the lesson you will be able to ….. 5.Main part: Teacher: There are more than 75 types of painting styles in art today. Now, of course, it is almost impossible to remember all these styles. Nevertheless, let’s have a look at the most famous styles of art: 1.Street art 2 Expressive Abstraction 3. Minimal Abstraction 4. Conceptual Abstraction 5. Geometric Abstraction 6. Hand-imal Art Teacher: Have you ever heard about these styles of art? Which ? Today we will learn about Hand-imal art style. Also we will get information about an artist who widely practices this style in his work. 6.New vocabulary. Teacher: first of all let’s revise some words related to the topic: It’s high time to boost your vocabulary. Listen to the words and try to remember the pronunciation. Pre- reading task. “Word wall” matching words and their definitions. Your task is try to match words with their meanings. If you do the task correct ,you will get 2 points for this task. Don’t forget to assess yourselves. 7. Daniele Guido. Listen to the audio about famous artist Daniele Guido and identify True and False sentences. Transcript: Daniele was born in Soverato, Calabria in Italy. In 1972, he graduated from Brera School of Arts, majoring in sculpture. Then, he attended the Tankas school in Dharamsala, India until 1974. Daniele has worked as a hyper-realistic illustrator, co-operating with editing and advertising companies, innovating with airbrush and testing out various painting techniques.In 1990, he developed a body painting technique, and his work has been used in advertising images and commercials, as well as fashion events and exhibitions. Among Daniele's most popular works are his 'Handimals' art pieces, where model's hands are painted to look like animals. 8.While – reading task. Task 1: Ss watch the video of the text and listen carefully. For this task you will get 3 points if you fill the gaps correctly. You should work in groups. Post reading task. “I am an artist” SS work in their group. A leader of the group chooses an envelope with a word. After it they paint a picture of word. They practice Hand-imal art style of painting in their work. Ok students ,you cope with all the tasks. H/t . Reflection: Write down one thing that you liked at the lesson Write down one question after today’s lesson you still have Write down one new thing you learnt in class today. |
