1. Greeting.

T: Good morning, children! How are you?

Cl: Good morning, teacher! We are fine.

To create a positive atmosphere in the class. Teacher invites learners to stand in a circle and to greet each other, ask and answer the questions:

-What is your name? My name is…

-How are you? I am fine, thank you.

-Is it green pen? No,it isn’t

2.To divide into two groups with the pieces of papers of school things ( a book and a pen)

The 1st Group “a book”

The 2nd Group “a pen”

The learners are divided into groups by choosing papers.

3. Teacher asks learners to guess the topic of the lesson by watching video: (bed, chair, table, desk, sofa, door)

By watching video they will find out the theme of the lesson “In my house” and get interested in learning lexis.

4.Teacher introduces the lesson objectives of the lesson.

T: We have new words for today’s lesson.

1.What is it?

2.Can you draw?

3.What colour is it?

Activity 1.T. explains the new word by blending and segmenting method. Learners read and repeat after the teacher.When the learners sound out words, they slowly say each sound in a word

(b-e-d), and then they say the seconds quickly together to read the word (bed).

Teacher moves around the class and supports pupils. Learners repeat the words after the teacher trying to memorize them and learn correct pronunciation.

In order to check students’ learning teacher points at different students or groups of students in the class and elicits words.
