Organization moment : 1.Greeting. 2. Organization moment. Look at the picture -Are you ready to fly? But we have some problems. Weather usually affect a flight much. Refer the pupils to the pictures and have a picture discussion. Elicit what season it is, what's the weather like, what the children are doing and what they're wearing (e.g. Is it winter or summer? Is it cold or hot etc). Explain the activity. Go through the questions and elicit/explain any unknown vocabulary. Allow the pupil's some time to answer the questions. Check their answers. - Please, guess, what are we talking at the lesson today? Excellent, you are right! What is the title of our lesson? How do you think what are we speaking about today? Yes, you are right! Today we’ll speak about the weather, seasons and activities. |

Divide students into 2groups by the method “Solar light” -We will fly when we do all the tasks. First, pay attention to my suitcase and books open. Encourage students to talk about what they see in the page and elicit any vocabulary that might be useful for following activities. (New vocabulary) Listen, point and repeat. Answer the questions. It’s snowing. It’s cloudy. It’s sunny. It’s foggy. It’s cold. It’s hot. It’s windy. It’s raining. Aim: pronounce the topic vocabulary words correctly. Efficiency:Ss learn new words before starting new theme. And practice during the exercise. This method helps Ss to reflect the spelling of new words. |
Pupils' books closed. Put the flashcards up on the suitcase. Point to the flashcards, one at a time, and say the corresponding phrases. The pupils repeat, chorally and/or individually. Individual work: Activity 1. Spin the wheel to choose the questions connected to the topic of the lesson. When the stops, children read a question and answer one by one. The questions: What season is it? What’s the weather like? What clothes are they wearing? What holidays are there in this holidays? Do you like rainy weather? Do you make snowmen? Pair works: “Share your pair” method Activity 2 Read and match. Then say. Pupils' books closed. Write on the board a summer activity and a winter activity. Ask the pupils What do you do in summer? Elicit answers (e.g. I go swimming.). Give verification to the pupils by saying (Swimming) is a summer activity. Repeat the same in order to elicit winter activities. Pupils' books open. Explain the activity. Go through the prompts and elicit/explain any unknown words. Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity. Check their answers. |
