Task 2. Let’s work with pairs. So you should move around the class and try to find your pairs according to the cut-out parts of the pictures and answer the given questions on the cards.

Task 3: Speaking: Conversation cards (Pair work) (8-10 minutes) time limit for speech – not less than 5 minute.


To enable Ss to practice fluency speaking using cards with written questions regarding entertainment.

Teacher will provide speaking with students and ask them to walk around the room and answer the questions according to the cards.

Try to write a short paragraph using some of the words you learned today. Think about these questions to help you write your response.

1.What’s your favourite type of movie (genre) and why?

2.Who’s your favourite actor/actress and why?

3.What is the best film you have seen?

Why would you recommend it to someone else?


Students assess each other with evaluative sheets.

Peer assessment:

  • name of the movie;

  • its genre;

  • description of film;

  • recommendations.


Task 4. Gave activity. (6-8 minutes)

To provide semi-controlled practice of the target language utilizing a crossword puzzle.

Teacher will provide a crossword puzzle to students to work as a whole class.

Teacher will provide responses on the walls for students to check their answers.

Assessment criteria:

Students will press the button on the active board to change the questions.

Students will see and check their answers on the active board.
