Task 1. Matching task:

Match genres with names of movies and translate them.Choose from this list or think your favourite films and describe them as given in examples.

e.g.Avatar is a fantasy movie because the action goes on non-existent planet and there are unusual creatures.

e.g.Titanic is not just a shipwreck; it’s a story of love, human error, and resilience. Jack and Rose’s romance.

Assessment criteria:

• match genres with their translation and names;

• make up sentences using topical vocabulary;

• speak clearly and pay attention to the grammatical accuracy.

Task 2. Let’s work with pairs. So you should move around the class and try to find your pairs according to the cut-out parts of the pictures and answer the given questions on the cards.

Task 4. Gave activity. (6-8 minutes)

To provide semi-controlled practice of the target language utilizing a crossword puzzle.
