In this assignment, I used several digital tools to design a short language test and evaluate the originality of a sample text. First, I chose Google Forms to create a digital test because it is simple, widely accessible, and automatically collects results. I designed a test with 7 questions focused on basic English vocabulary and grammar. The test included multiple-choice questions, short-answer items, and one matching task. I structured the questions from easier to more complex to support learners’ confidence and allow them to warm up before moving to slightly more challenging items.
For the originality check, I used an online plagiarism checker to review a short paragraph I had written. The tool highlighted a few phrases that matched common online sources. Based on the report, I revised the text by paraphrasing repeated expressions and adding clearer original explanations. This step showed how plagiarism detection helps students reflect on their writing and improve academic integrity.
Overall, using digital testing tools and plagiarism checkers supports learning in several ways. Online tests give immediate feedback, which helps learners understand their mistakes and correct them quickly. The structured format also allows teachers to assess progress efficiently. Plagiarism checkers promote responsible writing habits by making students aware of unoriginal content and encouraging them to develop their own voice.
