Definition of the “First Aid” As we all know, life can be dangerous sometimes. Nobody knows if you won’t get injured suddenly. That’s why everyone should follow basic rules of how to help himself or others. That’s named as first aid basics. It’s an order of actions you must complete to help someone who feels bad. First aid can be provided by people trained to gain special skills. It divides to: Unqualified – by everyone. Sanitary – by paramedics, nurses and other people with secondary medical education. Special – by doctors.

First aid kit First aid kit contains all things we need to use to provide first aid. There are many necessary things, such as: ■ Antibiotics ■ Antiseptics ■ Anesthetics ■ Antispasmodics ■ Bandages ■ Gloves and masks ■ Ammonia, and etc.

First aid for wounds, bleeding, bone dislocations, broken bones and wounds First aid for wounds: ■ Treatment of the affected area ■ Bandage applying First aid for bleeding: ■ If that’s arterial bleeding, we should apply a tourniquet above the wound for 1,5-2 hours. ■ If that’s venous bleeding, we should apply a tourniquet below the wound for 1,5-2 hours. ■ If that’s capillary bleeding, we should apply pressing bamdage.

It won’t heal the burn, but will make it more painful.
